This is a life size replica of Jack Daniels. It is propped up next to the Jukebox at Coyote Ugly on Beale Street here in Memphis.
I guess shortly after people started signing him. Pretty wild!
I finally made it to Beale Street here in Memphis. Got some great photos and and can't wait to share the others.
I really loved this add on this building. Such a cool place!

Living out of a hotel is not as fun or exciting as I originally thought.
Training has been fun, but just very long days. Dreaming about my friends and family back in Ohio. Ready to start working and taking some Portraits!
This is another photo from the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. I LOVED the uniformity of all the headstones.
This photo was from a stop on the way to Memphis Sunday. It was located at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. I found this Eagle to be an interesting artifact of the cemetery.
I apologize up front as the next two weeks with me being away from home these posts will be short and not the usual great quality

Well, it just sucks! Missing Carrie, Clay and family already! Training starts at noon tomorrow until 7pm. Hope this new life is worth fighting for
This is a Cannon that sits just outside of the trading post I shared a yesterday. It's definitely got some history to it.
This is another shot of one of my favorite local spots again. I hope that when I leave for Memphis this weekend I will have plenty of new photos for the project to share. With being so busy and the weather being so nasty I haven't been able to shoot as much as I would like to.
Until tomorrow!
This shot is from our trip to Punta Gorda Florida this past July. What a beautiful place. I wish I was there right now! So sick of all this cold weather!
I am so ready for Spring it's unreal. This is one of the beautiful flowers that bloom in the front of my house.
This is pretty much all we have seen here in Southwest Ohio as of late. I frankly am sick of it. Bring on Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my son Clay. He is destined to join the service once he is 18. I may not agree 100% with that but he sure does love the military. The boy watches the Military channel almost everyday. When we went on vacation this year he found this helmet and spent all of his money on it. It's a military issued helmet and it took two days before we could finally get him to take it off.
He cracks me up.
He cracks me up.
This was just one of the recent shots I had developed from my Holga. I was playing around trying new perspective and liked how this one turned out.

This is a shot of the center of the Clinton County Courthouse in Wilmington Ohio. It is truly a treat to see and simply amazes me each time I see it. One of these days I plan to shoot it with the D300s rather than just the Droid camera. I love how this one turned out though!
These ducks were in a pond near my fiance's apartment complex in Kettering Ohio. These little guys were all huddled up keeping each other warm in the one spot that there was an opening in the ice.
I thought that this tree looked pretty awesome in this spot of the cemetery. I usually don't just point and shoot but this time I did, and I liked it.

Meet my Grandpa. He is 70 years old and works and lives like he is 20. He cracks me up. I am always sure to get some good laughs, as well as some wisdom every time we talk.
This was pretty much my scene the whole day. He & I worked on getting the Neon checked over before I drive it to Memphis in a few weeks. Today I was a lucky guy to be able to hang out with my Grandpa. He is one HELL of a guy.
This is another shot of what will probably be a cemetery filled week due to the weather here. I found this headstone to be another unique one. The name and dates looked to be half carved and half written with paint on the marker. Also note the backwards N.
You just wonder what Mrs. Robinson was like.
This shot was taken at Sugar Grove Cemetery in Wilmington Ohio. I love the way these are all uniform and placed with repetition. A lot of history here. Just numbered, no names.
Sometimes I just shoot ordinary things to take a different perspective. It's crazy how much trash is on the side of our roads.
I shot this while just goofing around and trying to find something fun to shoot. I thought it had a nice sun flare look to it.
Wish we had some sun here today!
Happy Birthday to me.
This barn is located right beside "The Stone House" from a few days ago. It sites right near the Little Miami in Oregonia near the Fort Ancient area. I have always loved this barn. The reason I call it the "Norman" barn is that someone painted NORMAN in blue paint quite some time ago and even after they did some repairs to it they left the paint.
This barn is HUGE and very hard to get a good angle on. This was the best I could do at the time.
I was doing a shoot on the railroad tracks in the outskirts of Wilmington, Ohio. I happened to hear rusting in the weeds and bushes to our left and noticed this middle aged woman carrying her groceries from the store across the street. She then continued to walk the tracks to get home. I thought this made for an interesting shot.
I think this really tells something about our economic times, and the things we are faced with in life.
This house is located on S.R. 350 between Lebanon and Clarksville, Ohio. It was built in the 1800's and was recently restored a bit and now houses a Zip line adventure company called OZONE.
This building has those textures and colors I just had to grab.

I spotted this old abandoned recliner while driving past an old "dumping spot" on Creek Road just outside of Clarksville, Ohio. I can remember as a kid my Dad farmed the land next to it and we would visit him to take him lunch. There would always be something different that someone had dumped at this little pull off.
With all the things that change over the years I find it funny that this spot really hasn't.
This old abandoned house has been sitting like this for quite some time in the small town of Clarksville, Ohio. I think I heard someone bought it and intended to fix it up. Looks like it was too much of an investment. It has quite an eerie view to it though for being so small.
